Notre Dame, Galeton pick up wins; Canton falls to South Williamsport.

Gillett resident Shane Manning had 17 points to lead Notre Dame past Tioga 50-25 in IAC boys' basketball action Friday.

Fellow Crusader Matt Davis added 12 points, nine rebounds and six steals.

Eric Zwierlein led the Tigers with 13 points while Zack Baker added five, Cody Bennett had four and Troy Rogers scored three.

Notre Dame won the JV game.

South Williamsport 72, Canton 55

The Warriors hung with South until the third quarter where they scored two points to the Mountaineers 18.

Eddie Larcom led Canton with 18 points while Wes Moore had 13 and Emmett Watson chipped in with 11. Ryan Ball scored six, Austin Bunner had four while Tim Bassett scored three.

Michael Hall led South with 19 points.

Galeton 39, Austin 28

Galeton jumped out early in their non-league over Austin in boys' basketball action Friday.

Logan Smith led them with 10 points while Dakota Shadle added nine. Nate Jeffries scored seven, Nick Hand had five, Jordan Dugan added four while Dan Hatch and Kris Brumback each had two.

Austin's Tye Dynde led all scorers with 14 points.
