South pulls away from Williamson.

WILLIAMSPORT - The Warriors fell to South Williamsport 57-44 in Class AA District IV boys' basketball action Tuesday.

The Mountaineers led 15-11 after one, then added to it by half 27-18. Williamson fought back in the third, outscoring South 14-11 but the Mountaineers pulled away in the fourth, scoring 19 points to pick up the win.

Ryan Bidlack, Devon Smith and Hunter Huyett led the Warriors with 10 points each. Derrick Vargeson added nine while Drew Fish, Shea Daily and Canyon Black had two points each.

Brandon Johnson led South with 16 while Michael Hall had 12 and Alek Keller added 10. Riley Hengler scored eight and Tommy Rook added seven.

NOTES: Huyett returned after missing the last nine games with an injury.
