Wellsboro girls fall to South.

Two second-half goals proved to be the difference as South Williamsport picked up a 3-1 win over Wellsboro in girls' soccer action on Wednesday.

Laura Rook put South up 1-0 in the sixth minute, but Sarah Ingerick tied things for the Green Hornets with a goal early in the second half in the 44th minute.

South retook the lead eight minutes later when Rook scored again and they put the game away in the 74th minute when Rook capped her hat trick.

Kailee Clymer had nine saves in net as South had 12 shots and Kelsey Gantz had six saves for South. The Green Hornets had seven shots.

South had five corner kicks and Wellsboro had no corner kicks in the game.
